- Liquor – Bali has strict rules on the importation of liquor – you are allowed to bring in one bottle (of wine OR spirits) per adult person
- Bring – Lightweight clothes, at least 1 bathing suit, personal sunblock and insect repellent, hat and sunglasses, comfortable walking sandals, your own music requirements, Indonesian Rupiah cash, power plug converters, a Wi-Fi/data plan for Indonesia, prescription papers for medical drugs, small torch/flashlight
- Download: MapsMe / Google Maps, Grab, Gojek, Bluebird, Google Translate
- Provisioning – You’ll want to stock up your non-breakfast needs (drinks and snacks) the day you arrive. The Canggu Station Deli is next door.
THINGS TO DO…
- Sightseeing in Tanah Lot–Tanah Lot is one of seven sea temples that are standing along the coast of Bali. This holy site is a popular tourist destination particularly at sunset and can be reached in a 20-minute drive from the villas. We recommend going early morning to avoid crowds.
- Day Trip to various places around Bali: our staff can help with arrangements.
- Beaching and Surfing – Canggu beaches provide great waves suitable for surfing. Echo beach is the famous surf beach but Berawa (Brawa) is closer to the villa – a 12-minute walk. Use caution if entering the water as rips and currents are strong in these areas.
- Eating out – Bali now offers some of the finest restaurants and dining in Asia, along with local eateries (warungs). Coffee Shops & bakeries are excellent.
